Heirloom Plant and Herb Sale
The Ozaukee Master Gardeners hold annual heirloom plant sale.

Master Gardener volunteers make it happen, from planting the first pepper seeds to helping at the checkout on the day of the sale.
The sale is a much-anticipated event, with a long line of green-thumbed customers forming early at the door. We sell vegetable plants, flowers (annual and perennial) give gardening tips, feature activities for children and offer delicious herb teas and baked goods. Proceeds support our project gardens and OzMG's other activities.

While it's still winter, Ozaukee Master Gardeners draw up plant lists, plug in seeds, and nurture new plants for the sale.

Two days before the sale, we haul our plants from greenhouses to the Concordia University Fieldhouse, the site of our annual sale.

Our tomatoes completely sold out. Some customers even wanted plants that had been damaged in the rush. They were given a discount.
