Washington County Community Gardens

The Washington County Community Gardens (WCCG) comprise the only OMG core project that is located outside our home county.

The gardens are in West Bend. In 2008, a large city lot was given over to small garden plots tended by interested residents.  At the time, no horticulture services existed in Washington County. Ozaukee Master Gardener Mary Reilly-Kliss stepped in to lead the project. It has become a productive endeavor, yearly producing an estimated 10,000 pounds of food.
