Deciding what plants should go where can be a challenge. But the site is sunny and vegetables do well.

Webster Middle School Slide Show
At Webster Middle School in Cedarburg there is a large raised bed garden. It is there that students in grades six through eight work with Ozaukee Master Gardener volunteers to make the school a green and healthy place to be. Together with school staff, the Master Gardens and students research sustainable and environmentally friendly ways to grow food and use energy wisely. They also prepare fresh food samples and serve them in their home rooms. Pizza Day is a big hit!
The Junior Green Team Leaders assist Webster's Science teacher with a "Little Sprouts" gardening program for local preschoolers. Their outreach extends to the elderly and disabled, too. Students brought fresh plant material to the nearby Lasata Center to help create holiday decorations with the residents.
